My blog see sig below has a detailed explanation, but to summarize Access is a database development platform with several components. The weakest component is the ACE database engine. So if you are going to write C programs I'm not sure why you would Access for your data storage. Second, if you still want to connect to Access tables you need to create a Connection String in your C program. But as Daniel suggested this is not the forum for that. There are probably several forums that help with C coding if you search.
